Welcome to our Ward

My name is Bernie Logue Y Perea and I'm the Chair of Ward 47-A of the Santa Fe County Democratic Party of New Mexico.

As a Democrat I know the strength of our party is community. But with 3 kids of my own, I also know finding time for political (community) events isn't easy. That's why I asked my friend, Gideon Elliot, to help me put this blog together, to make it easier for Democrats to connect with one another.

So far we've added a calendar of events which you can contribute to after joining our email list, the DPNM's by-laws and other resources. To make this blog a tool for building our Party we'll need your help.

If you have any suggestions for features, would like to see resources for for researching a specific subject, have questions about how the party works that you'd like help answering or would like to submit a an opinion for publication on the site, please email us.

Sincerely,

Bernard Logue Y Perea

Wow! Great site, Bernie. This is better than many candidate websites I have seen. Keep up the good work for Ward 47-A.

Bernie-
I know it's hard to keep posting when time is tight and when Ward activity is an intermittnet activity. Instead of this blog, why don't you join one of the commuity blogs where you can post whenever you want and the site keeps is active even when you're not.

There are two or three blogs that come to mind. I blog on Ward 11 A activity at NMFBIHOP (http://www.nmfbihop.com/ )
and Clearly New Mexico is another community blog
( http://clearlynewmexico.com/ )

You might think of it as the best of both worlds -- you can post your blog and put your activity before people on a high traffic blog while letting the blog manager do all the work exept write your articles.

Bernie,
Great job. Email me back so I can catch up with you.

John C. send me your e-mail information to BLogue888@aol.com
